New Metal-Should be sandblasted to a Commercial Blast (SSPC-SP6). Results are dependent on extent of cleaning of surface. Priming-NEW Metal: Use this product direct to metal. Galvanized Metal: Should be primed with galvanized metal primer. Previously Painted Surfaces: All surfaces to be coated should be clean, free of dirt, grease, oil, dust, wax, mildew, rust water soluble materials or peeling paint. Glossy surfaces must be dulled by sanding prior to painting. Remove loose paint by scraping. Sanding dust must be removed prior to paint application. Wash to remove contaminants. Rinse thoroughly with water and allow drying. All areas that are rusting, blistering, cracking or peeling must be cleaned to bare metal.

Stir thoroughly with lifting motion until uniform mixture is obtained. Stir occasionally during use. For best results use a high quality natural bristle brush. Roller covers should be short nap mohair or similar type professional cover. Paint can also be sprayed. Do not apply if surface or air temperature is below 45 degrees F or above 95 degrees Fahrenheit.

This will cover approximately 375-425 sq. ft. (34.9-39.5 sq. meters) gallons depending on porosity and texture of surface and application method. Uniformity of color is dependant on batch consistency.

Under normal conditions-temperature of 77 degrees F, dries to touch in 4-6 hrs. And can be recoated overnight with light sanding between coats. Fully cure in approximately 7-10 days, depending on environmental conditions.

Tools and equipment should be cleaned with mineral spirits. This product is intended to use directly from can. DO NOT THIN. Clean equipment immediately with mineral spirits or VM&P Naphtha. Flushing spray equipment at noon break, with a thorough cleaning at the end of the work day, is a good work practice. USE COMPLETELY OR DISPOSE OF PROPERLY. An empty container with product residue may still be flammable; follow all hazard statement until t has been disposed of properly. This product contains organic solvents This may cause adverse effects to the environment if handled improperly. Unused product should be saved for touch-up purposes or a household hazardous waste collection program. Dry, empty containers may be recycled in a can recycling program. FIRST AID: If affected by inhalation of vapors or spray most, remove to fresh air. In case of eye contact, flush immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and call a physician; for skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap and water. In case of ingestion-DO NOT INDUCE VOMITTING, get professional medical help immediately. IN CASE OF FIRE: Use Foam, CO (2) dry chemical or water fog.
