Dunham�s Aluminum Paint is ready mixed metallic aluminum paint for interior and exterior use. The durable, moisture-proof vehicle is combined with pure, fine aluminum flakes to give a good leafing, weather proof high hiding, and tough, elastic, and smooth, brilliant aluminum finish. Surface Preperation:

Surface must be clean, dry and free of dirt, grease and grime. Loose rust, mill scale and loose, peeling and flaking paint should be removed by scraping, wire brushing or sanding. All glossy surfaces must be dulled thoroughly by sanding. Metal surfaces should be primed with Dunham�s Primer. Remove a trace of mildew by washing surface with a household bleach solution.

Application:

Over properly prepared surfaces apply a full coat of Dunham�s Aluminum Paint. Spread evenly to obtain a uniform film and a smooth, bright and highly reflective coating. Dunham�s Aluminum Paint is supplied in a ready to use consistency and should not be thinned. THIS PRODUCT IS DESIGNED TO BE USED DIRECTLY FROM THE CAN WITHOUT THINNING UNDER NOMAL ENVIRONMENTAL AND APPLICATION CONDTIONS. DO NOT THIN. Do not apply at temperatures below 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

Coverage:

This will cover up to 500 square feet per gallon on surface in good condition. On fences, very porous surface and badly worn areas, coverage is reducing considerably.

Drying Time:

Dunham�s Aluminum Paint dries in approximately 6 hours. Allow overnight drying before subjecting to extreme and severe use. If required for any reason, a second coat may be applied after overnight drying. Application may be by brush, roller or spray-ai

CleanUp:

Clean brushes, roller and spray equipment immediately after use with mineral spirits or and environmentally safe commercial brush cleaner.

Caution:

Caution Combustible! Contains Petroleum Distillate: Keep away from heat and open flame. To avoid breathing vapors or spray mist, open window and doors or use other means to ensure fresh air entry during application and drying. If you experience eye watering, headaches or dizziness, increase fresh air or wear respiratory protection (NIOSH/MSHA TC23C or equivalent) or leave the area. Close container after each use. Avoid prolonged contact with skin. Do not take internally. FIRST AID: If swallowed, do not induce vomiting.
